The partner conduct standard
One page every partner agrees to. Version 2026-10-03, a draft with counsel.
Say it plainly
- Disclose the relationship next to every recommendation: "Independent Scopebond Partner — I may earn a commission." In video, say it and show it. A partner's own channel, newsletter or post counts.
- Describe Scopebond accurately. Scopebond puts guardrails and signed evidence around AI coding agents. Use the approved claims in the content hub. Never say Scopebond is "certified", "compliant", "guarantees" anything, makes a team "secure", or is free beyond the published Free plan.
- Quote only scopebond.com prices. Never invent a discount or a price.
Treat customers well
- No cash, rebates, gift cards or a share of your commission to a customer for signing up or buying.
- No unsolicited bulk email, messages or comments; follow the anti-spam law where you and the recipient are.
- No pressure tactics, fake urgency or claims about competitors you cannot support.
- Never ask a customer for their Scopebond credentials, receipts or policies. If a customer shares data with you, protect it and use it only to help them.
Respect the brand
- No paid search ads on "Scopebond" or its misspellings; no domains, handles or app names containing the mark.
- Use the badge and logo only as supplied, and only while you are a partner in good standing.
Play fair
- No buying for yourself, your payee or a business you control; no fake accounts or cookie stuffing; no incentivised clicks.
- Report a concern about another partner from the portal. Reports go to a person and are never public.
What happens if something goes wrong
- An automatic signal or a complaint opens a review. A person looks at it; nothing changes for you while it is open, and you can respond in the portal.
- A person may issue a warning with a deadline, a suspension (new referrals stop; earned commissions are still paid), or, after a suspension or for credible fraud, a termination. Each comes with the reason in plain words.
- You may appeal any warning, suspension or termination once.
- Scopebond outages, onboarding trouble and support delays never count against you.
